The Channel Islands Over-50's cricket team narrowly lost to Wiltshire in the ECB County Championship on Sunday.

Chasing 245 to win, the Islanders fell just short on 230-7, with Guernsey's Steve Burkitt top-scoring with a superb 102 and Paul Robson making 44.

The team need two wins from three games to secure a place in the last 16.

The Channel Islands are currently third in the South West Counties League and are next action against the Isle of Wight at Ventnor on Monday.
