Jersey's Andrew le Cheminant is the best placed island shooter at the annual British Open shooting championships at Bisley. Another solid day for Le Cheminant left him in 25th place overall in the Grand Aggregate with a score of 382.29. He is the only islander placed in the top 50 of the competition, which is lead by Guernsey's Nick Mace. But the changeable wind conditions have affected the island's other top shooters on the Bisley range. David le Quesne is placed 98th while three other island shooters are separated by eight places. Mary Norman is 131st, former World Under-21 champion Daniel Richardson is 134th and 1990 Commonwealth Games gold medallist Colin Mallet is 139th.
