Guernsey boxer Gage Demore won a junior Amateur Boxing Association (ABA) title after by beating Jonathan Brown in Barnsley on Saturday. The 16-year-old won the final of the 60kg class for his age group at the Royal Navy ABAE Junior Championships. The first round ended level on points at 4-4, but Demore led 7-5 after the second and finished with a 13-8 lead. He becomes Guernsey's first ABA champion and is now in line for a call-up to the Great Britain squad.
