Jennings was knocked out of the ABA Championships in the quarter-finals

Guernsey's top boxer, cruiserweight Matt Jennings, is to fight the British number two Tony Conquest next week.

Jennings, who reached the quarter-finals of last year's ABA Championships, will top the bill at Beau Sejour next week.

The event will also see the return of the Channel Islands Boxing Championships.

The event, between the best amateur fighters in Jersey and Guernsey, was last held 50 years ago.
