Jennings was forced out after a nosebleed would not stop |
Guernsey boxer Matt Jennings is out of the Amateur Boxing Association championships after sustaining a nosebleed which could not be stopped. The Amalgamated Boys Club cruiserweight lost to London champion Ricky Newland at the Sheffield quarter-finals. "It wasn't a big or heavy shot but my nose just started bleeding," Jennings told BBC Radio Guernsey. "The doctor couldn't stop it bleeding so they had to call an end to it for health and safety reasons."
