Scholes broke the women's record by 15 seconds

In near-perfect conditions both course records were broken in the sixth and penultimate race in the week-long OSA recruitment all-terrain challenge.

Martine Scholes took 15 seconds off the women's record with a time of 37 minutes 35 seconds in the Icart cliff path time trial on Thursday.

The overall leader Steve Dawes went 11 seconds inside his own record with a blistering 31 minutes 29 seconds.

With one race to go Dawes leads the event by more than five minutes.
