Guernsey's Easter Running Festival was hailed a success after more than 150 visiting athletes took on local talent.

Zimbabwe's Willard Chinhanhu raced to victory in the men's half-marathon in a time of 67 minutes, followed by Neil Renault of Nottingham University.

Emma Pallent came first in the women's race, ahead of Guernsey's Louise Perrio and Sark's Bronwyn Rogers.

Race Director Paul Ingrouille told BBC Guernsey: "We were lucky with the weather and feedback has been great."

In the 10k race, British star Steph Twell ran a time of 32 minutes 38 seconds to take victory - the 22nd fastest time by a British woman in the event.
