Henry back to winning ways
Drew Henry
World number 25 Drew Henry won his first match of 2004 with a 5-1 success over Michael Holt at the Players Championship in Glasgow.

The event is Henry's last of the season after he missed out on qualification for the Embassy World Championship.

Welshman Ryan Day recovered well to come from 4-3 down to beat Tony Drago 5-4 in what was a fast-paced match.

Shaun Murphy set up a second round meeting with Jimmy White after a 5-1 win over Dave Harold.

In-form Mark King beat Jimmy Michie 5-2 to reach the second round.

King reached the Irish Masters final last week and was pleased to have got his first match back out of the way.

He said: "It felt like a bit of an anti-climax after getting to the final last week because I'd gone through so many emotions in Ireland."

In other results, Stuart Bingham beat Joe Swail 5-4 and Ali Carter beat Stuart Pettman 5-1.
