There cannot be many superlatives left unused to describe the greatest player of all time. The Scot has won more ranking tournaments than any player in history - 34.
He has also won seven world titles - five on the trot from 1992 - and notched up almost 600 century breaks in competition.
Hendry also holds the records for the most world championship centuries, 96 in total with a high of 16 in a single tournament, a mark he set in last year's final.
He almost won an unprecedented eighth world title in that final last season, but was pipped on the line by Peter Ebdon, losing 18-17.
The 34-year-old has also collected five UK Championships and six Benson and Hedges Masters titles.
This season he has added a third Regal Welsh title to his haul and also figured in the finals of the Benson and Hedges Masters and European Open.
Victory in the 2002 European Open broke a 27-month barren period and Hendry has not looked back since, climbing to third in the provisional rankings.
