Most of the Open field will play an iron off the tee.

The narrow fairway has a little valley with a flat area on the left-hand side.

It's best to aim for a trap in the distance which is up by the green.

On landing, the ball will tend to kick to the left, which is the better side to be at.

There is plenty of rough there but not as thick as that found on the right.

Being on the left will also leave you with a good view of the green.

The putting surface is not very wide and kicks off to the right.

There's a bunker that guards the front-left so you need a very accurate approach with the shortest iron.
