This hole has been lengthened a few times over the years, tucked back up into the corner.

It has a big dogleg right to left with Rae's Creek running down the left-hand side past big pine trees, which must be almost 90 feet high.

The fairway tilts right-to-left, so the camber goes the right way, but long hitters can miss it and go into the trees.

Once you are off the fairway there is no rough as such, but they have pine needles about six inches deep.

It looks as if your ball is just sitting up, but you have got to be careful when you take a big swing because your feet move and you can duff your shot entirely.

From the centre of the fairway, looking at the green when the azaleas are out, you can see the mounding of the stream.

This is one of the most beautiful looking holes that you will find anywhere.

The green has two or three levels, little spots where there are five or six square yards of green which they put the flag in on some occasions.

Sometimes you can play a poor shot - and this is true for a number of holes at Augusta - but with the right spin and a bit of good luck, you can suddenly come backwards to the hole or come off a ridge and end up very close. The shot will often not warrant that, but that is part of Augusta's charm.
