Hole 3 at Augusta
350 yards, par four

Peter Alliss
By Peter Alliss
BBC TV golf commentator

Hole 3

This is an interesting, shortish par four with a cloverleaf green where they can put the flag in some awful spots.

It looks relatively benign from the tee, but catches some of the players out.

Course architect Alister Mackenzie thought this hole was almost perfect, so the green, which slopes right to left, has been changed less than any other on the golf course.
