FAYE WHITE, footballer
MBE for services to sport

White, a tall central defender, is the Arsenal Ladies and England captain.

The 28-year-old has earned 50 England caps and won 19 major trophies, including the domestic "double" twice, the "treble" in 2000-01 and the women's FA Cup five times.

She led the England team which qualified for next year's World Cup in China.

White works for Arsenal, coaching football to girls in the greater London area and is a patron of the Women's Sport Foundation.
