Wolstenholme is Great Britain and Ireland's record points scorer in the Walker Cup, the amateur equivalent of the Ryder Cup.
He has played in six matches, and holds the unique record of having played in four Cup-winning teams (1995, 1999, 2001 and 2003).
Wolstenholme can also claim to have beaten world number one Tiger Woods in the event in 1995.
The 45-year-old has won two British amateur championships and countless events around Europe.
