2002/03 - Rangers 2-1 Celtic
Rangers 2-1 Celtic

Rangers make it four Old Firm League Cup final victories in a row.

A final full of incident and drama saw Claudio Caniggia (pictured, bottom-left) and Peter Lovenkrands put Rangers two ahead of their Glasgow rivals in the first half.

Goal machine Henrik Larsson scored for Celtic in 57 minutes, setting up a tense last half hour.

In 62 minutes, Welsh international striker John Hartson had what looked to be a good goal ruled offside.

Celtic's Neil Lennon was sent off (pictured, top-left) with two minutes to go, then Martin O'Neill's side were awarded a last-minute penalty.

Agonisingly for Celtic, John Hartson drilled his spot-kick wide of Stefan Klos' post and Alex McLeish's Rangers could celebrate.

It's fascinating to look at the teams that turned out for Rangers and Celtic in the final on 16 March 2003.

Rangers had just one Scot in the starting XI, while Celtic had three.

Rangers: Klos, Ricksen, Amoruso, Moore, Bonnissel (Ross 64), Caniggia, Arteta (Konterman 78), Ferguson, de Boer (Arveladze 86), Mols, Lovenkrands.

Celtic: Douglas, Mjallby (Petrov 88), Balde, Valgaeren, Smith (Sylla 66), Lennon, Lambert, Sutton (Maloney 80), Thompson, Larsson, Hartson.
