The first leg of a Rangers treble.
Rangers manager Jock Wallace lead his side to the first of two trebles during his tenure, in 1975/76.
At a packed Hampden on the south side of Glasgow, Rangers claimed another 1-0 win over Celtic.
Alex MacDonald, who made 503 appearances for the Ibrox side, scored with a diving header, an attacking skill that became "Doddie's" trademark.
Left to right in the photo on the left are players Derek Parlane, Quinton Young, goalscorer MacDonald and Colin Stein.
In the picture on the right, the players shake hands at the final whistle.
