1990/91 - Rangers 2-1 Celtic (aet)
Rangers 2-1 Celtic 1 (aet)

Rangers recover from a goal down to lift the cup.

Things were looking good for Celtic when centre-half Paul Elliot, the Players' Player of the Year for season 1990/91, put the Bhoys ahead.

However, Rangers winger Mark Walters equalised for Graeme Souness' side to take the match into extra-time.

Richard Gough was the hero for Rangers as Souness won his last trophy before leaving to join Liverpool.

The teams lined up as follows on 28 October 1990:

Rangers: Woods, Stevens, Munro, Gough, Spackman, Brown, Steven, Hurlock (Huistra 45), McCoist (Ferguson 45), Hateley, Walters.

Celtic: Bonner, Grant, Wdowczyk, Fulton (Hewitt 45), Elliott, Rogan, Miller (Morris 45), McStay, Dziekanowski, Creaney, Collins.
