1970/71 - Rangers 1-0 Celtic
Waddell's gamble on teenage striker pays off.
In just his third first-team appearance, and a professional for just three months, 16-year-old Derek Johnstone headed the only goal of the game at the Hampden final.
In doing so, he ended a run of five League Cups on the trot for Celtic.
Ibrox manager Willie Waddell had gambled by playing such a young striker, but his faith in the Dundonian youngster was rewarded when Johnstone headed the winner.
The match photo shows the celebrations among the Rangers players as they swamp the teenager after he scored.
The image on the right shows a rather exhausted-looking Waddell just after the final whistle.
