Moore played in the 1970 World Cup under the shadow of accusations he had stolen a bracelet from a Colombian hotel in the build-up to the tournament but he was later cleared.
The West Ham stalwart reached his century of caps in a 5-0 win over Scotland on Valentine's Day 1973. His 108th, and final, international appearance came in a 1-0 friendly defeat by Italy that November.
Moore died of bowel cancer at the age of 51 on 24 February 1993.
A statue in his memory was unveiled outside Wembley in 2007, positioned so it gazes down Olympic Way at arriving fans.
