Crystal Palace v Burnley (Wed, 19:30 GMT)

    Crystal Palace

We will come to Oliver Glasner in a bit, but a bit of good news from the Austrian - Jean-Philippe Mateta does not need surgery on his knee injury, which the Crystal Palace manager says is "not as bad as we first feared".

After advice from specialists, Glasner says Mateta will miss "a certain time but I can't say if it's three weeks, four weeks or five weeks".

    More to follow.

    Sunderland

Let's start with some team news from Sunderland manager Regis Le Bris: "Nilson Angulo ready to play. He trained and played a lot of football this year at a good level so he is ready.

"[Bertrand Traore] is similar to Granit [Xhaka], almost three weeks. Something like that. It is symptom driven but they are both in a good place, so hopefully we will have good news in a few weeks."

Right, let's switch focus from a side sliding towards the Championship to a promoted team that has taken the Premier League by storm.

Was anyone else surprised to find out today that Sunderland have the league's only unbeaten home record?

Certainly won't have been a shock to any Sunderland season ticket holder, who must be loving life in the top flight right now.

Liverpool are next up to visit the Fortress of Light...

Three straight defeats have ended Wolves' mini-revival and Rob Edwards needs his men to rediscover their composure.

A five-game unbeaten run sprinkled some positivity on a wretched season, as unity slowly returned to Molineux.

Yet the possibility of setting a record low points total in the Premier League remains, even if talk about the issue has subsided, and Wolves still need points to avoid it.

They still have just eight points, three adrift of Derby County's record of 11 in 2007-08, and first-half displays like Saturday against Chelsea will not help their cause.

Edwards bemoaned the "ludicrous mistakes" which saw Matt Doherty and Yerson Mosquera concede first-half penalties for fouls on Joao Pedro.

The boss admitted to pounding the door in anger following the opening period, with Wolves 3-0 down at the break, but he is likely to be calmer in his pre-match news conference on Tuesday.

We're about to hear from Rob Edwards and will bring you his best lines was we get them.

Don’t worry everyone. I’ve run the remaining fixtures through my “super computer”. Top 3 are Arsenal, Manchester City and Manchester United. No positive news for West Ham, Burnley or Wolves though I’m afraid.

  6. Honest yet a sense of defiance from Slotpublished at 13:36 GMT

Sunderland v Liverpool (Wed, 20:15 GMT)

This was a press conference where Arne Slot mentioned the "setbacks", "hits" and "bad luck" that his Liverpool side have faced this season.

There have been plenty of reasons, from long-term absentees to late goals to the time it has taken the new signings to adapt to life in the Premier League.

"Even if we sign a player (Jeremy Jacquet) and he's not even playing for us he gets injured," the Liverpool boss said, after Jacquet, who will join for a fee of £60m in the summer, sustained a shoulder injury on the weekend while playing for Rennes.

Yet Slot stressed that the overriding focus should remain on improving their performances, even if at times it feels like he has "tried many different things".

"The question is are we unlucky or is it part of who we are? That is something we can only find out in the upcoming three to four months," Slot stressed.

It didn't feel he was making excuses - rather, Slot was refreshingly honest about the range of challenges his side have faced and admitting their flaws.

There was a little smile when he admitted that this is the toughest season he's ever had in his career. Within that, a glimpse too into how challenging everything has been for him at one of the biggest clubs in the world.

Defeat at Sunderland on Wednesday will only amplify the pressure on the Dutchman. Like he said, it would not be acceptable for Liverpool to miss out on the Champions League.

But there was a sense of defiance and belief too within Slot, who still believes his Liverpool can do "special" things this season. If not, then the voices around his future at the club will only grow.

Arsenal are only 6 points ahead and still have to play Manchester City - how a super computer gives Arsenal a 90% chance of winning the title is ludicrous, especially after City bringing in Guehi and Semenyo in January. It's much closer to 50-60% at this stage.

I'm not trying to do the whole "it's Arsenal's to lose". But realistically if they don't drop points we can't catch them. My best hope is we can win those tricky games and have a good showing against Arsenal themselves. Title or not, improvement has to be the focus. As for Khusanov, it's probably good he doesn't speak like Shakespeare, because then I definitely wouldn't be able to understand him.

So Pep Guardiola was doing his best there to quell any gathering excitement.

He is right, of course. Our emotions during a title run-in are always reactive, when every victory and defeat seems to be pivotal.

That's his title experience coming out - notice how he turned it back on his players to show they can be consistent and go on one of the club's fabled runs.

Almost like he's been down this path before...

Right, some of your responses coming up next before we move to the other managers speaking today, which include Aston Villa's Unai Emery, Sunderland's Regis Le Bris and Wolves boss Rob Edwards.

  12. 'Sometimes when you are lucky and mum and dad make you so big you can make that save'published at 13:09 GMT

Man City v Fulham (Wed, 19:30 GMT)

    Manchester City

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola on Gianluigi Donnarumma's late save against Liverpool: "Live, when I saw the deflection I said goal. Sometimes when you are lucky and mum and dad make you so big and so huge, you can make that save. I think you can make that save because he's so big, or you have incredible pace and energy in your jumping. Really good."

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola on whether his players can mount a serious title challenge: "We have done really good things. I have had the feeling for many, many months but we are not consistent enough. OK, we controlled many aspects to win the games more or less.

"[Against Liverpool] we equalised the game with a deflected cross from Rayan Cherki, and after some intelligent play then we scored from there, from a deflection.

"The we had an incredible save from Giorgio [Donnarumma]. That is football."

He added: "It will happen if we do what we need to do. I want to deserve the three points. I want us to play the way we have to play to stay there."

  14. 'We have to prove it now' - Guardiola on whether his players can handle title race pressurepublished at 13:01 GMT

Man City v Fulham (Wed, 19:30 GMT)

    Manchester City

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola on how he was affected by pressure in previous title races: "When you have 65% to 70% new players we don't have that that we had in the past right now. Before, after the second or third season we had done it we were able to do OK, we had proved it. But ow we have to prove it now. I don't know if we are able to win three, four, five, six games in a row. I don't know."

  15. 'Everyone is OK'published at 12:59 GMT

Man City v Fulham (Wed, 19:30 GMT)

    Manchester City

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola reiterated that he had not trained with the players yet when asked about team news, but on John Stones he said: "John is back. He is fit, I would say, so yes, everyone is OK."

  16. 'Depends on Bobb what he can become'published at 12:57 GMT

Man City v Fulham (Wed, 19:30 GMT)

    Manchester City

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola on Oscar Bobb and why it did not work out for him at the Etihad: "Oscar Bobb, I do not have any doubt about his potential. It depends on him what he can become. If he wants to become a top-class player he will be a top-class player. He has all the attributes. All of them."

As a football manager, I had lost all my players close season to our bigger and better local rivals. We ended up battering them with a brand new and fairly inexperienced squad first game of the season. It was nice to be the bogey team for once!

Ooft! A bogey team AND an underdog. Very satisfying, Chris.

  18. Khusanov 'doesn't speak like William Shakespeare'published at 12:52 GMT

Man City v Fulham (Wed, 19:30 GMT)

    Manchester City

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola said that Abdukodir Khusanov is "good" for the game against Fulham and able to play, despite suffering ahead injury against Liverpool.

On Khusanov's development, coping with the language barrier: "I admit he doesn't speak like William Shakespeare but he is getting better and getting better. He understands what we want and every time it is getting better and better. He is so intelligent. He always takes good decisions."

  19. Marco Silva has the 'destiny to be one of the top managers'published at 12:47 GMT

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola on what they have to do to beat Fulham: "Every season is better. The movements they do...they are really good. The patterns and the quality they have, the composure of the play, the speed they have. Marco [Silva] is one of the top, top, top managers I face. Destiny to be one of the top in a few years for sure."

  20. 'If we lose we disappear from planet Earth'published at 12:44 GMT

Man City v Fulham (Wed, 19:30 GMT)

    Manchester City

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola was asked about reducing the gap to Arsenal to three points by beating Fulham: "Every time over the past weeks and months when I go before the game for an interview always if you lose you are losing everything and are going to disappear from the planet Earth and stuff. So what I am saying is what do you have to do to beat Fulham?"

He added: "I understand how nice it is to [talk about points gaps] three [points], four [points]...this kind of stuff. That is OK but that is not winning titles or in the latter stages to try to be close to win the titles."
