Blackpool ended their three-game losing run in League One with a 2-0 victory over Northampton at Bloomfield Road.
Zac Ashworth opened the scoring for the Seasiders in the early stages of the contest, before Ashley Fletcher doubled the lead at the beginning of the second half.
The result leaves the Cobblers without a league win in over a month, while Ian Evatt's side now have something to build on after picking up their first points of 2026.
Ashworth broke the deadlock after just three minutes, with the wing-back finishing at the back post after two attempts from George Honeyman were blocked from close range.
Blackpool strengthened their advantage at the beginning of the second half courtesy of a penalty from Fletcher. After being brought down in the box by Terry Taylor, the striker stepped up to convert for his 18th goal of the season.
Heading into the latter stages, Kamarl Grant almost marked his home debut in Tangerine with a goal, with the Millwall loanee hitting the inside of the post.
