Prue

Prue is the acid tongued Mancunian who runs the Village Pub. Seldom a kind word to say about anyone - particularly those in earshot.

Married to Desmond - the eccentric manager of Radio RANT FM - together they fronted the duo "The Strawberry Biscuits" who enjoyed limited chart success (no. 47) a very long time ago.

As she mainly speaks English, Colin often uses her as an excuse for not speaking Gaelic in social situations. She mistakes his Mary's Little Lamb act as romantic interest.
