Des is the station manager of RANT FM and lest we forget, one half (with Prue) of the husband and wife close harmony duo 'The Strawberry Biscuits' who had one hit a long time ago.
Unfortunately it was downhill from there and although the couple recorded another 3 singles they never again reached the giddy heights of number 47 and Des began to drown his sorrows.
Des somehow manages to keep the Radio Station going and weirdly manages to sound articulate when broadcasting the radio links and adverts.
Otherwise, nobody understands a word he's saying.
