Joggers David and Merv look eerily alike - save the fact that Merv has blonde highlights in his hair.

David was born and bred in Aberant - only leaving briefly once in 1983 to do a textile design course at Middling Polytechnic. Merv is from San Francisco and moved to the village shortly after meeting David in a Middling Nite Spot.

The insufferably cheery pair are seen jogging along the road or park, often to be struck by lightning, fall down a manhole or run smack into a tree. Serves them right for keeping fit and for being so cheerful.
