A product of East-West collaboration, being part Trabant, part Triumph (though obviously not in the literal sense), Rusty was bought from Shark's car dealership when Colin dropped in to ask directions and ended up being parted from his post office savings after half an hour with Jeff Shark.

Assured the car was 100% reliable, Colin was pleased with his purchase until he realised it was 100% reliable to break down. However, Colin grew fond of his characterful if eccentric car and at least life is never boring: just when he thinks he's learned all of Rusty's mechanical peculiarities, another one pops up to mess with his mind ....
