Leon Litvack

Leon Litvack is Professor of Victorian Studies at Queen’s University Belfast, and a world-renowned academic expert on the life and work of Charles Dickens. He has held a range of public appointments in the areas of peace and reconciliation, and arts and culture, and is a frequent contributor to BBC radio and television programmes, both locally and nationally. Leon’s wide-ranging Thought for the Day broadcasts encompass the world’s major religions, history, politics, visual arts, literature, technology, and many other fields besides. He is originally from Canada, and often presents a cross-cultural perspective to his listeners.
