Rev. Gareth Burke

Gareth grew up in Belfast and was educated at Methodist College and Queen's University where he studied Modern History. After theological studies at the Free Church of Scotland College, Edinburgh, he was ordained into the ministry of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church in 1984 and currently serves as the minister of the Stranmillis congregation in South Belfast. Gareth is married to Ruth and they have four 'grown up' children and four grandsons. By way of relaxation, Gareth would take an interest in politics, both locally and nationally, and has for many years followed the fortunes (and misfortunes!) of Leeds United.
