He’s no stranger to the big stage, but how will professional funny man Chris Ramsey fare on the dance floor?

While dancing may not be his forte, comedy definitely is. Chris has been cracking jokes on the circuit for years, touring the country with sell-out shows like The Most Dangerous Man on Saturday Morning Television, Feeling Lucky, Offermation, All Growed Up and his most recent 106-date tour The Just Happy To Get Out of the House Tour.

The 32-year-old is also a regular on our television screens, starring in The Chris Ramsey Show on Comedy Central UK, two series of critically-acclaimed BBC Two sitcom Hebburn and most recently, Married to a Celebrity and Parenting for Idiots alongside wife Rosie on Channel 4.

The couple, who are parents to three-year-old son Robin, are also the creators and hosts of number one podcast Shagged. Married. Annoyed. We’re sure they’ll have even more to chat about once he’s got his feet around the Foxtrot!

One thing we do know is that comedian Chris is more than prepared to swap stand-up for sequins this September. “I’m really looking forward to being a full-time dancer. I’m cancelling most of my gigs for this!” he said.

But does his experience match his enthusiasm? “If my dance history was a book it would be one page with ‘tried not to stand on wife’s feet during wedding dance’ written on it.”
