At the airport – checking in Staff: Can I have your tickets and passport, please? Avon: All right. Staff: Do you have any bags to check in at all? Avon: Nothing. No. Staff: No bags to check in? Any hand baggage? Avon: This small bag and the one bag. Staff: Right, I’m afraid I will actually have to check the bag in, madam, because it is too big to actually carry on board the aircraft; and it’s a full flight today, so I will need to actually check that in. Avon: All right - thanks. Staff: Have you packed the bag yourself? Avon: Yes. Staff: You know what’s inside the bag? Avon: Oh... it’s my clothes. Staff: Right. And has anybody asked you to carry anything on board for them? Avon: No, no. Staff: That’s fine. Right, there’s your boarding card, madam. And I’d just like to wish you a very pleasant flight. Avon: Yeah thanks. Staff: OK. Avon: Thank you. Staff: OK. Have a good day.
