"Di Nigeria Football Federation don express deep sorrow afta e dey confirmed say Christian Chukwuemeka Chukwu, wey bin captain Nigeria 1980 Africa Cup of Nations-winning squad and later coach di team, bin die for im native city of Enugu on Saturday.
Im be di first Nigerian captain to lift di African Nations Cup trophy afta a 3-0 victory over Algeria for di final of di 1980 tournament for Lagos.
Di Enugu-born legend bin also lead di Super Eagles to a third-place finish at di 2004 Africa Cup of Nations for Tunisia.
