Minister of Education Dr Maruf Olatunji Alausa say di cut off marks for universities go be 150, Colleges of nursing go be 140, Polytechnics go be 100 while Colleges of Education go be 100.
Di minister make di announcement afta policy meeting wit Vice Chancellors, Rectors, Provosts and Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (Jamb) for Abuja Nigeria capital.
Di meeting agree say all admission processing must end by December 2025.
Di meeting also agree say if any school offer pesin admission, di candidate get maximum of four weeks to accept di admission or reject am, or di admission go dey forfeited.
During Di meeting JAMB registrar Ishaq Oloyede announce say during dis year admission, candidate's admission document go carry dia score and dia rank for di general exam.
Nigeria admission age now 16
Di Minister for education during di meeting also announce say henceforth admission age go be 16 as against di age 18 wey dem bin announce last year.
E say d decision dey non negotiable as federal goment don decide.
Mr Tunji Alausa also announce say any admission wey any school offer outside di Central Admission Processing System CAPS dey illegal.
CAPS na online admission platform wey Jamb introduce for 2017 to handle admission processing across di kontri, but despite di introduction, Jamb say some schools still dey give some students admission outside di CAPS system.
For di meeting, di Minister announce say moving forward any school wey fail to follow di rules go collect sanction.
“Some of di sanctions fit include to withdraw institutional assets and prosecution of di concerned officers or governing council members," na so di minister tok.
2025 Jamb result lead to candidate death
Candidates bin write di 2025 Jamb examination across di kontri between Friday 25 April and end on 5 May.

JAMB confirm say errors affect candidates
According to Jamb some errors bin happun for some centres wey affect di performance of candidates during di exam.
Jamb Registrar, Prof Ishaq Oloyede tok for media briefing for Abuja say “wetin suppose be moment of joy don change due to one or two errors."
Di Registrar announce say di technical error affect about 379,997 candidates.

Under Lagos zone, 65 exam centres dey affected inside Lagos and Oyo states only. For Owerri zone, 92 exam centres dey affected across Imo, Abia, Anambra and Ebonyi.
Di rescheduled exams hold from Friday 16 May 2025, di affected candidates begin rewrite di exams. Most of of di exam fall into Saturday and candidates reprint dia exam slips to follow rewrite di exam.
