Killaboi girlfriend mama tell court how e beat up her daughter break her phone.

For di second day of di trial, di woman say "E mercilessly beat up Augusta, break her phone pull off di hair wey she wear. Later e begin beg for forgiveness and second chase" dat na wetin Madam Cordelia Onwuwagbagbe wey be mama of di girlfriend of Benjamin Best Nnayelugo alias Killaboi tell court on Thursday.

She narrate her side of di story before Justice Ibironke Harrison of di Lagos State High Court during di ongoing trial of Killaboi.

Killaboi dey face two count charges of murder and say e tamper wit dead body and remove body parts of him girlfriend Augusta Onwuwagbagbe.

Wen di trial resume on Thursday, mama of di victim climb di witness box and stand face to face wit di alleged killer of her only daughter. She identify di defendant as e stand for di witness box.

Killaboi dress in clean senator wear, good shoes, wrist watch and ball pen in front of him senator wear.

Di witness tell court say na for December 2021 her daughter introduce am to di accused, say two of dem dey into romantic relationship and becos she na single mother and want make her daughter dey safe, she tell her daughter to bring di guy come home.

According to her, she approve di relationship and take in Benjamin as her own son, say di boy dey come her house often and even dey eat dia, even wen di girl no dey house, wen she dey school.

56 years old madam Cordelia Onwuwagbagbe wey be civil servant say she get only two pikin Hezekaih Onwuwagbagbe and Augusta Onwuwagbagbe (now deceased). She say her daughter supposed turn 24 years dis year. Say she be medical lab student and first class student for Leeds City University.

She tell court say "on 22nd December 2022 di lovebirds travel on holiday outside di kontri. Wen dem tell me about di travel. I call Benjamin and ask am wia e make dat kain money to travel, e say e win Sporty Bet".

According to her, she advise di boy to invest di money into business, e say e don send some money to him uncle Okeke Charles to hold for am. Say wetin dem wan do na low key travel.

She say seven days into dia vacation, Benjamin mercilessly abuse her daughter, beat her up and break her phone.

"Wen e dey beat am e no record am, but wen my daughter don vex dey throw pillow on him, dey complain of di beating, e record am send to me, say di girl don fight am" na so she tell court.

She say wen dem return from di trip, di accused come her house kneel down beg her, go her son room beg am, say him no be violent pesin. Say e no go do am again, add say next time him raise him hand to beat her, make di girl walk out of di relationship.

She say "Augusta beg us say since him don come beg, make we allow her make she give am second chance. And we allow am and dem continue di relationship and violence no happen again".

She continue her evidence and tell court say for July 11, 2023, Benjamin call am for night, and dey always refer to her as mummy. She say Benjamin say since dem dey date Augusta never cheat on him before, but now she dey plan to go cheat on him.

"E say e arrange pesin to toast Augusta and she agree, say dem she dey go meet di pesin for Lagos. I tell am say Augusta go come in two weeks time wen she go don round up, so we go settle dis matter" na so she tok.

"Wen e drop call, Augusta call me say mum, Benjamin don take over my Instagram account, tell am make e give me back my account make dis relationship end today, unto say she be influencer".

According to her, she call Benjamin and e give am back dat account dat same night.

"After dat, on 15th July my son call me and ask wen last I talk to my sister, I say I chat am up and e respond but e no gree pick calls on Saturday morning wey be 15th July."

"E tell me say make I go look for di sister say him dey see di shadow of di sister and him dey scared, unto say e always dey happy whenever e see di shadow of him sister".

She say her son direct am to go Benjamin house go look for di girl. She say na dat time she open up to her son and tell am say di lovebirds quarrel on di 11th and di girl send voice note say di boy dey threaten am.

She say "for di voice note Augusta say Benjamin swear by him mother grave say e go show her, wen I tell di broda wetin happen on di 15th, e say make we go Benjamin house".

"I no know Benjamin house so I reach out to Oyindamola wey be my daughter roommate to guide us to the house, she say dem no fit allow us enter di Estate except pesin from inside give us code, so with di help of Oyindamola we arrange military officer and go with others to Oral Estate Ajah" na so she tell court.

"Dem allow us into di Estate sake of di military officer wey tell dem say di girl dey reply chats but no dey pick calls. Wen we reach dia, him gate dey locked, but her car park inside. I bin tink say dem go out wit him own car. As we no fit break into di compound, we go Police Station and police give us officer wey carry us go di house wit Estate security. We notice say her car key dey ontop of di bonnet and him house windows dey open"

She say di security guys say make dem get ladder, dem get ladder and as police no dey proactive, her brother climb di ladder.

She say "as him climb, di window dey open, e use him phone check inside, but e no tell me wetin e see dia. E drive us go home, say di next day we go come back on Sunday to go search for Augusta".

According to her, after service on Sunday she begin press on her brother make dem go look for her daughter.

Say as di guy dey delay family friend Mrs Bankole enta house, say na dat time her brother break di news of wetin him see.

At dis point she begin cry for court. She say she begin chat wit Benjamin but e no gree reply.

"Di next day Benjamin go online and begin confess say e get argument wit him girlfriend auxta_xxo wey be my daughter Instagram handle, say na di argument lead to him stabbing dingirl to death" na so she tell court.

According to her, di defendant tok plenti tins for di live video, say e go turn himself in, say e get 300 million at dis age and e go turn himself.

She narrate say "di next day e begin chat me up and dey explain wetin happen".

Again she break down in tears for court. Bend down cry.

E say di boy for di chat dey tell am sorry and dey tell am to be strong. Say she tell am say nothing wey di girl do wey fit worth to take her life.

"I tell am say one stab na mistake if you rush am go hospital and if anything appun dia we go take as our faith. But no, you knowingly kill am. Na premeditated killing" na so she tok.

She say "at some point e begin blackmail me say Augusta get sex tape, say if him release am, e go spoil tins for me as I be pastor".

"I ask am, na so you love am reach, to paint her black?".

She say by August she reach out to Okeke Charles wey be uncle to Killaboi. All of dem clone dia phone so pesin no fit call dem. She send am message say him nephew kill someone and no one from dia family don come show face, say di uncle replybsay say dem too dey process di pain.

According to her, she bury her daughter for September 9 2023.

14 September 2023, she go online to make public post say since dem kill her daughter, nobody don come see me, wia Karma dey?

"Killaboi reply me for him own page say karma no dey exist say na to pay wickedness wit wickedness and now release di video wey him record about di girl. E write again for him Instagram account say my baby for dey alive if no be say her mama dey pimp am for rich men" na so she tell court.

She say after dat dem no get any other chat or reply anymore.

She tell court say na for September for Sierra Leone dem arrest am and e escape and later dem arrest am for Qatar.

She say her son follow go Sierra Leone follow go do di arrest, say dat time Benjamin papa enter Sierra Leone and chat her up for di first time.

She tell court say for November prison break happun for Sierra Leone and di defendant follow escape, say other prisoners return na only Killaboi no return.

"Dem arrest as as Samuel Kanu Princeton for Sierra Leone. We follow am up after di escape until e settle for Qatar wit new passport. Wit di help of my lawyer Femi Falana dem arrest am again for 18 January 2025" na wetin she tell court.

According to her, na for April 2025 dem extradite him back to Nigeria wit multiple passports and different names.

"I never see am again since den until yesterday wen him appear for court.

Di DPP tell court say dem get all di WhatsApp chats and messages as evidence and go present am for court.

Court adjourn di case to 22nd and 23rd April, 2026
