Her performances in Manchester means the cyclist, from Stotfold in Bedfordshire, is real golden prospect. "I know my competitors are looking to me as the one they want to beat," she said. "All I have to do is maintain my form and I know that will put me in a situation which will make it very hard for anyone to beat me on the day.
