Edgar chasing rostrum place

This summer's Olympic Games will be the second for pursuit cyclist Ross Edgar.

Edgar Ross

It's Ross Edgar's second Olympics

Four years ago in Athens the 25-year-old managed a fifth place finish in the Individual Men's Pursuit - and in Beijing he is looking to go at least two places better.

He said he feels in excellent form at the moment, and he hopes that form pays off.

The Newmarket cyclist is a former national junior sprint and kilo champion.

Although he is from Suffolk, his Scottish ancestry meant that he could represent Scotland at the Commonwealth Games where he picked up bronze in the Team Sprint.
