Look EastYou are in: Look East > Shelf-stacker aiming high ![]() Sarah Claxton in action Shelf-stacker aiming highAt 28 Essex spring hurdler Sarah Claxton has been selected as the sole GB competitor in the 100 metres in Beijing. Her day job, on the tills and stacking shelves in a Colchester supermarket, helps to keep her sporting ambitions on track. It is a world away from the rigours of competition and Sarah revels in the contrast - few people at work knew she was an athlete. Look East's Andrew Cropper interviewed Sarah the week after she blew away the opposition in the 60 meters hurdles at the Norwich Union Grand Prix event in Sheffield. As she limbered up for the mid-February event in Birmingham, she said the coming weeks represented a big opportunity for her and she was really looking forward to it. "My training has been going really well so my preparation for the World Indoors is good. I am in much better shape this year," she said. The games will be Claxton's second Olympics, having competed in Athens four years ago. Help playing audio/video last updated: 21/08/2008 at 18:57 SEE ALSO
