Suffolk horsewoman Sharon Hunt has been picked to compete in the eventing at this summer's Olympic Games on Tankers Town.

Sharon, 30, of Bury St Edmunds, is thrilled to be heading for China.

"This really is a dream come true," said Sharon, who teamed up with her mount 10 years ago.

"I have owned and ridden Tankers Town since he was a four-year-old, so it feels even more special.

"We know each other completely and we can second-guess each other's thoughts.

"I am looking forward to the whole experience and I am thrilled to be picked for my first Olympics and represent my country."
