Ayesha: Editor

Leicester student Shivani plays the role of the Wavelengths editor, Ayesha. Who is she and what is she really like? Read on to find out about Ayesha's character...

Ayesha is an extremely intelligent young woman who edits Wavelengths into the high quality show that it is.

She doesn't want any of the praise or the limelight, she just wants to do a good job at what she loves; reporting.

Ayesha knows that Andy is ambitious and can play dirty at times, however, as long he doesn't threaten the life of the show, she generally lets him get away with it.

Andy will gloat about being the life force behind Wavelengths and he'll often omit to mention to people that she is the co-creator.

However, Ayesha is comfortable in her position, she is, after all, the woman who puts the words into Andy's mouth; he may think that he’s in charge, but she knows who has the real control.

Ayesha is also the quiet object of Rocco's affections. He is way too shy to say anything as she is three years older, but sister Renee knows her brother well enough to know his secret.
