Working with the Islamic Foundation and Digistories, members of Leicester's Muslim community have been digitally recording their personal experiences on aspects of their faith. Stories are the way we pass our experience on to others. One generation reminds the next of its culture and traditions. Sughra Ahmed is originally form Burnley in Lancashire but now lives in Leicester. She graduated in November 2005 with an MA in Islamic Studies. Now she works as a trainer in diversity and cultural awareness. Sughra tells us why she decided to study Islam at University and how this decision has started her on a new journey. Azmery's storyAzmery Ali was born in Bangladesh. She spent his childhood moving to and fro between Bangladesh and England. Now a medical student, Azmery is taking a gap year to travel, learn Arabic and find out about her religion, Islam.
