በዚህኛው ክፍል 'there is' እና 'there are'ን እንዴት መጠቀም እንደምንችል እናያለን። በመጀመሪያ ማቀዝቀዣው ውስጥ ምን ዓይነት ምግብ እንዳለ የሚነግረን ልዊስን እናዳምጥ። ልዊስ ምሳ ምን እንደሚበላ ለመረዳት ይሞክሩ። 'A pepper' ቃሪያ 'an onion' ሽንኩርት፣ 'cheese' አይብ፣ 'milk' ወተት፣ 'eggs' እንቁላሎች፣ 'tomatoes' ቲማቲሞች እና 'carrots' ካሮቶች የተሰኙት ቃላት ንግግሩን ለመረዳት ያግዟችኋል።

There's a pepper and there's an onion. There's some cheese but there isn't any milk. There are some eggs and some tomatoes, but there aren't any carrots.

So we can't say 'a', like with 'a pepper' or 'an onion', and when you pronounce 'some' you usually say it very quickly. Let's practise together – repeat after me.

Yes, we change 'is' to 'are', but we still use 'some' and 'any'. Let's practise:
