Yes sure. గతంలో మనం రెగ్యులర్‌గా చేస్తుండే విషయాల గురించి చెప్పడానికి 'would' వాడొచ్చు. అయితే అవి గతంలో చేసినవి కానీ ఇప్పుడు అలా చెయ్యనివి అయ్యుండాలి. ఆమె చిన్నతంలో రోజూ స్కూలు అయిపోయాక ఫుట్‌బాల్ ఆడేవారుట. కానీ ఇప్పుడు అలా ఆడట్లేదు. అందుకని అని వాడారు. It is an interesting grammar point. Can you give more examples of this, Phil?

Yeah, sure – so you could say: 

I would always study hard for my exams.
When I lived near the park I would go there every day.

రెండోవ్యక్తి ఏమన్నారో మళ్లీ విందాం.

That's a very good question, and the answer is no. అని గతంలో మనం రోజూ చేసిన పనులు లేదా రిపీటెడ్ గా చేసిన పనులు కానీ అవి ఇప్పుడు చెయ్యట్లేదు...అలాంటివాటికి 'would'  వాడతాం. ఇలాంటివాటికి 'used to' కూడా వాడొచ్చు. అయితే గతంలో చేసిన పనులు రోజూ చేసినవి కాకపోయినా వాడొచ్చు. ఆమె చిన్నప్పుడు సముద్రపు ఒడ్డున ఇంట్లో ఉండేవారట. ఇది repeated action కాదు. అప్పుడు ఉన్నారు. తరువాత ఎప్పుడూ మళ్లీ లేరు కాబట్టి ‘would’ వాడకూడదు, 'used to' అనే వాడాలి. 'would'  వాడినచోట 'used to' వాడొచ్చు కానీ 'used to' వాడినచోట 'would' వాడలేము. అదీ తేడా!

రోజూ ఆడేవారు కాబట్టి I would play football every day after class అనొచ్చు
I used to play football every day after class అని కూడా అనొచ్చు.
I used to live near beach అనొచ్చు,  కానీ I would live near beachఅనకూడదు. అర్థమైందా?

I used to like chocolate, but I don't now.

I used to go to the cinema a lot, but I don't now.

We could also say: When I was younger I would go to the cinema a lot.

మీ యూనివర్సిటిలో మీతోపాటు చదువుకున్న స్నేహితులు ఎప్పుడూ గుర్తొస్తుంటారు, తరచూ మేమంతా కాఫీ తాగడానికి cafes కి వెళ్లేవాళ్లం అని చెప్పగలరా?

అలాగే చెప్పారా? అయితే well done. మరొకటి అడుగుతాను. మీ 21 వ పుట్టినరోజు ఎప్పటికీ మీకు గుర్తుండిపోతుంది. అప్పట్లో మీకు పెద్ద పెద్ద పార్టీలు చేసుకోవడమంటే ఇష్టం అని చెప్పాలి.

Very good. చివరిగా...మీ పాప స్కూల్‌కి వెళ్లిన మొదటిరోజు ఎప్పటికీ మర్చిపోలేరు. తను చాలా సిగ్గుపడుతూ ఉండేది. దీన్ని ఎలా చెప్తారు?
