Crosswords / Crosfhocail
Crosfhocail, or Crosswords tests the learner's vocabulary on a number of topics.
To complete Crosfhocail, the learner must solve the clues to fill in the blanks. The learner needs to understand words related to the following topics:
• colours
• family
• animals
• jobs
• months of the year
• food
The crosswords are in grids of 12 across by 12 down, with numbered blank spaces. In order to complete the crossword, the learner must read the clues and type the answers into the empty spaces.
There are 3 levels to the game.
In Level 1, the clue is in Irish and the learner must enter the answer in English.
In Level 2, the clue is in English and the learner must enter the answer the Irish.
In Level 3, the clue is in Irish and the learner must enter the answer in Irish.
