Surf Board Designs / Déaraí Clár Toinne

There are 2 ways to play Déaraí Clár Toinne, or Surf Board Designs, design mode and order mode.

Design Mode lets the learner design their own surfboard. To play the game, the learner answers a series of questions to generate a surfboard design.

The learner enters their name, selects the size of surfboard they want, their favourite colour and their month of birth. As they answer the questions, the surfboard can be seen in the design panel. Once completed the learner can see their completed design and print a copy of it.

Order mode lets the learner test their listening and comprehension skills. To play the game, they must understand colours, sizes and animals.

The learner listens to orders for surfboards. They need to select the correct size, colour and motif to design the surfboards according to customer specifications. As they select the correct options, they can see the surfboard in the design panel. On completing the order, they can see the finished design.
