Election 2008You are in: Guernsey > States of Guernsey > Election 2008 > The West  Parish crests of the West The WestThe west electoral district comprises the parishes of Torteval, St Peters, the Forest and St Saviours and is represented by six deputies. 2008 sees 4,906 people registered to vote in the West district, which is 136 more more than the number registered in 2004, which was 4,770, this is up by 3% on 2004. The hustings meetings were held on Wednesday 2 April and Wednesday 9 April at La Houguette School.
