Ok has blog layout totally changed and gone all grey or is it just my computer? Either way - yay for new people to play with lol and of course we'll be nice :-) we're always nice Mr.P you know that :-)

Oh I hope this layout is temporary. It's rather drab.

Not loving this new layout....video clips not automatically there as before...the comment box is a ridiculously small size so can't really see what I'm writing...background colour not good...I'm crying BH Production team.!

...and I've realised that I can't actually see any of the video clips now ....help Mr P!

Wahey all sorted and I just got a little trip down memory lane - clicked on the "technical problems" bit (my internet automatically brings up the last site I was on) and got that little doll in front of the blackboard hehe you know like in the good old days before 24 hour television when there literally was nothing on sometimes and there'd be the little girl/doll thing? Yeah anyway made me smile :-P

BBC1 for the show *thumbs up* so we need to tune into BBC1 when s2 starts? I must make a post-it note reminder - would hate to miss the start of the new series by going to the wrong channel!

I'm still recruiting newbies from across the pond, it's sort of cute that they don't know eg where Bristol is, etc so I have to edcuate them ;-)

Hope that BH1 rerun on BBC1 brings in loads of new fans but do sympathise with non UK based folk who can't access this website and all its glories ( including some of my family who would love access...well, they do have the DVD..OK ..no more go there!)

Just been watching recording of the beautiful one ( Aidan Turner for all newbies) on Desperate Romantics last night's episode...surprisingly Man also found this episode riveting...can't think why.. (Annie Miller anyone?) I think Aidan is trying to break the record for how many women he can... in a one hour show

Lol think it's quite funny nearly every actor says that actually you know sex scenes etc are just embarassing and not at all sexy in reality but you ask Aidan and he loves it lol well I suppose if you've got it flaunt it and well...he's very much got it so why not :-)



Hmm fan videos - I think the most famous has to be sexy vampire :-P other than that...I've done a few and C's done a few - the girl who made sexy vampire has done a few others too although in our defence she has a much better editing program than me and C have access to lol

Hi, y'all! From across the pond, I've found this wonderful BBC show - have watched all eps I can find online - actually catching it on the BBCA channel here has been iffy. Stumbled across it looking for the 3rd season of RH to see if it was ever going to show over here. Tried viewing the video clips (Funniest George Moments, Mitchell's Best, Etc.), but they all tell me they are not available in my area. Wouldn't the Internet make it my area? Not sure I understand that error message -- any suggestions?



PS: Love hearing the dialog with the accent - sometimes miss what they say because of it and have to rewind, which I don't mind at all :)

Hiya lakeloonnc if you search youtube some of the videos from the blog are on there - not all of them unfortunately but most of them :-) including the prequels which are worth a watch - especially Mitchells I think his is probably the best :-)

CAN SOMEONE HELP ME WITH MITCHELL?



I'm trying to like the show. I'm tremendously smitten with Annie, & George is a likable character. I've got a problem with Mitchell that I'd like to get over. If I can't, I may drop the show.



My problem is seeing Mitchell exposed to sunlight. I've seen him in front of unshaded windows during the day and even walking about outside in the afternoon.



Am I wrong, or are the producers being lazy and skirting the "Vampire Rules"?

Unfortunately I missed the pilot episode of Being Human. As a serious fan of Russell Tovey, I would like to compare him playing George Sands now and then. Unfortunately, the DVD Box did not contain the pilot. Is there any chance of the BBC repeating the pilot episode in the forseeable future?

jfhancock :: technically, I am with you....I am a big fan of The Blackdagger Brotherhood (vampire warriors who defend the vampire race from a society intent on detroying them)..These vampires will basically burn to death if they go out into daylight.



In fairness to the BH team...this question was asked sometime ago Toby's reasoning was that if Mitchell can only go out after dark and he is a major part of the show, then nearly all the scenes would have to be shot at night time which was just not practical. I think the team acknowledged that vamps should only be out at night but he had budgets etc. to think about.

Please stick with it .....you won't be sorry

Should have also mentioned...if you see Mitchell out in daylight , he will usually be wearing shades and his baseball cap( pulled well down) again as an acknowledgement that he 'doesn't like' daylight.

Wow! Not a Mundane Monday at work today - they're filming BH outside my office :) :) :)

Oh now Hipsueo you cannot give such a tantalising crumb without giving a blow for blow account of what was going on..who was doing what with who..specifically was the beautiful one involved and what was he doing...I'm assuming of course as an upstanding BH fan that you abandoned said office work and either hung out of window of had a VERY long break to take note of all the above...dish the dirt baby!

Initially filming took place around our reception area which happens to be right by my office. Gorgeous George (or should I say Russell) had several takes there. During the afternoon they were outside our canteen using the corridor there for more hospital scenes. During one of my many visits to the canteen for coffee yesterday I met the beautiful one - he is DDG in real life.

Both the cast and crew were really friendly and accommodating - made my boring day exciting. Needless to say - not a lot of work was done by me yesterday.

I am really selective with my viewing and do not watch a great deal of telly. However, having watched series 1 on BBC3, I thought it ws excellent - best viewing in a long time - I cannot wait for Series 2 - apparently to be screened in Feb'10.

Now listen Hipsueo..it is your duty from henceforth to reveal all details of any sightings...with blow by blow accounts....of our fab 3 with the beautiful one in particular in mind. Talking of that man...was he sporting the moustache seen in BH2 Its Official They're Back video clip?..I can't say that I find it his best look...

I've only discovered this series this summer, and I love it! It was easy to get into the story without knowing the history. Being in the USA, and not being able to see the site's videos, I'm hoping that I can get the series on DVD. I will definitely want to see this from the beginning, although I noticed that someone mentioned the pilot not being included. Will that be available separately?

And I do like that Mitchell can go out during the day. Why should every Vampire Story keep them on night watch only!

I, too, am a new American fan having watched the first season of Being Human on BBCAmerica. The three main characters are delightfully likable and the actors who play them do so perfectly. I particularly enjoy watching the friendships that have developed between Annie, Mitchell and George. The three truly care for each other unconditionally, and to my delight, without sexual undertones. It is wonderfully refreshing! I also enjoy the humor that is intertwined in each episode. When does season 2 start?

Hi, I'm new to this site and wondered if anyone knows where I can view the pilot episode - or is it a case of renting it?

Aniviel2: don't think that you can buy or rent the original pilot...you can access it via Youtube but not as a whole film...you have to watch it in small 'bites'...reasonably easy to work out the sequence to watch the bits. The roles of Annie and mitchell were played by different actors in the pilot...enjoy!
