I could cry! This performance is meant to even come close to the original actress from the BH pilot? Congrats on ruining a perfectly good show, think I might stick to the pilot.

The original ghost girl was wonderful. What with Mitchell being recast too, what a disappointment!

Why did I bother phoning in to say how wonderful the pilot was? Lesson learnt BBC - leave anything good as a great memory.

was thrilled to hear that this was to be a series, sadly the two newbies are not to my liking and i was wondering why they have replaced the original actors? guy flanagan was a much more convincing and charismatic vampire and andrea riseborough a much more believable mixed up ghost, the only good in this series is that tovey is still in it, i am not sure i will warm to the others the same as other bloggers on this site and therefore i feel this will probably die after one series sadly due to a BIG error of judgement in re casting by the powers that be!! if anyone knows why there was a cast change please enlighten me- it might make me more inclined to hang in there and grin and bear it

I really enjoyed the pilot, i also really enjoyed it tonight on bbc three.

Lenora is a GREAT ghost and i think she is a great actress.

Can't believe it! It's ridiculous... No not that the actors have been changed, but that some people are so incapable of just enjoying a show and have to invest so much of their mental well-being in some light entertainment. It is a shame that good actors couldn't reprise their roles for whatever reason, but the story is written by the same people and you should perhaps just enjoy it. There is too much misery in the world to get so upset about something so insignificant. The show is brilliant - I never saw the pilot and I don't see the need to.

The pilot had the makings of a cult show just look at the number of torrent downloads it had - of the pilot shows only it and Mrs In betweeny were really any good. Episode 1 is a disapointment - the girl playing the ghost while fine as an actress was wrongly cast and not vulnerable enough - the other two were okay but unfortunately the original darkness in the scripting and reinforced by the lighting, set design and editing seems to have been lost - the show might get better but I have a feeling that marketing has got in the way. I don't understand why the opening script was not as strong as the pilot and why the pivotal role of the ghost was recast. Television is no longer a cool medium but sometimes certain shows can be this could have been the new battlestar

No I haven't seen the pilot either - but I think that both Lenora and Aidan are doing a wonderful job. I think Lenora plays Annie's vulnerable side perfectly.

Lenora does an excellent Job.



The previous actress could have had more potential as a commedy role, she didn't come accross as a victim, so much, as a bit of an irritating moany whinger.



Lenora is still funny by being more gently annoying in a childlike manner and she makes the role much softer & warmer she is much easier to like and have empathy with. As was said before there is a air of vulnerability.

LoL some people need to get over the 1st cast, i watched the first, loved it. then it was recast, and while confused and caught off a bit, the new cast is great, the previous actress would have been good, but Lenora is great.



Shes loveable, funny, cute n all. But i only found the other chick funny, she wasn't versitile enough.

So glad they recast those 2 roles. The old Annie's voice drove me round the bend!! : )
