Kirsty Wark

Kirsty Wark began her broadcasting career in radio. She moved to television in 1983 to work as a producer on Reporting Scotland and later produced and presented the current affairs weekly Seven Days. From 1990-1993 she presented the arts programme, The Late Show, joined BBC Two's Newsnight in 1993 and since 2001 has regularly presented Newsnight Review.
Kirsty was nominated for the prestigious Richard Dimbleby Award for Best Television Presenter (Factual, Features and News) in the BAFTAS 2000. She presents the Man Booker Prize for Literature and hosted the launch of Tate Modern.
