Iwona Blazwick

Iwona Blazwick began her career as a curator. She was appointed director of exhibitions at the Institute of Contemporary Arts in London, moved on to be head of exhibitions at Tate Modern until 2001 and then took the helm at the Whitechapel.
Iwona has written books including An Endless Feast, on British situationism; authored many exhibition catalogues; co-edited Tate Modern: the handbook; and edited a directory called Fresh Cream, a "Who's Who" of the Best New Talent in the International Modern Art World (2000).
