The Power of Art on your mobile phone

We've invited galleries around the UK to take part in our mobile project by highlighting artworks listed on this website in their galleries. This means around two hundred artworks in over one hundred galleries around the UK. As you visit the galleries you will notice Power of Art labels next to the artworks directing you to the mobile content relevant to that artwork.

If you choose to access the mobile content, you will receive:

• Introduction by Simon Schama
• Video previews from the TV series, Simon Schama's Power of Art
• Audio clips from interviews with cultural commentators about the artworks from the Inspired by... series
• City Guides - art listings for 14 UK cities

There is also a programme of exclusively commissioned artworks, with a selection available for mobile:

• Richard Billingham's video films of Brighton with archive footage from the British Film Institute
• Mary Yacoob's audio artworks in Birmingham
• Yara El-Sherbini's pub quizzes in Bristol
