One of the doctors we talked to demonstrated a new kit from Boots the chemist, which involves a simple urine test which can detect the Chlamydia infection. Unfortunately, the kit won't be available over the counter until mid-November. There will be an in depth report on Sexually Transmitted Infections in Panorama on Sunday night. Wednesday 12 October Flooding People who live in flood-prone areas need to do more to prepare for the worst, according to the Environment Agency. It says you should find out if you're at risk by visiting its website or calling Floodline on 0845 988 1188. If you are at risk, make sure you know the warning codes. And if a flood is imminent - co-operate with the emergency services (you may need to be evacuated); turn off your gas, electricity and water supplies at the mains; put plugs into your sinks and weigh them down with something heavy; move as many possessions upstairs as you can - particularly sentimental items. Healthy eating and childhood obesity The healthy eating programme for children which we featured is called MEND - Mind Exercise Nutrition Diet. Saturday 8 October World Hospice Day The singer songwriter Billy Bragg, and other artists including Jarvis Cocker have been working with hospice patients to produce a special webcast, featuring songs, poems and music to mark World Hospice Day. The Rosetta Requiem starts at 1130 BST with a children's concert, and there's more music until 1330.
There will also be a CD of Billy and Maxine's song We Laughed will be available to buy from 31 October on the Cooking Vinyl label.
