Low 1002 expected over Forties on Friday evening, moving northeast and expected 1003 over Scandinavia by midday on Saturday. Low 991 expected west of Bailey midday on Saturday, moving northeast and expected 985 over Faeroes by midday on Sunday, before moving into the Norwegian Basin on Monday. Azores high 1032 stretches a ridge northeast on Monday. Low 1006 develops in Trafalgar on Monday evening and extends north into Fitzroy. Strong winds spread in from the northwest on Saturday morning onwards, affecting all but the Channel and Biscay, with gales in Sole and Shannon on Saturday evening. Gales ease early Sunday and strong winds ease on Sunday night. Further strong winds arrive from the west on Monday afternoon, with a risk of gales in Fitzroy and Sole later. Widespread fog is not expected to affect the region during the forecast period
